Alicia Witt is a pianist as well as a singer, who has performed on the screen since when she was a child. A pianist by profession, she first released an EP in the year 2009, featuring her warm and strong voice. The first album she recorded, the Ben Folds-produced Revisionary History, appeared in 2015. The Conduit in 2021 marked her first release as a co-producer. Alicia Witt appeared in the 1984 David Lynch adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune as Alia Atreides. Although she was only ten in 1984, it's no surprise that she was categorized as being an actor and not a singer, in spite of having played piano since her first acting experience. While she appeared on screen more, her career as a musician did not commence until the year 1995.
